Proteus Digital Health
Jacques is currently Head of Wearables at Proteus Digital Health, where he leads the Development and Production of wearable sensors in support of Proteus’s digital medicine activities. Jacques has over 30 years of experience in the medical device industry (from even before Design Controls, or ISO 14971!), and has developed small (pregnancy tester) to large devices (angiography suite), at start-ups (Sense4Baby) or established companies (Siemens), for OEM’s (Tecan) as well as contract manufacturers (Solectron), and working as an individual firmware developer (Adac Laboratories) to leading large, multi-continent, multi-disciplinary teams (Lifescan, a J&J company). Jacques is passionate about introducing and sharing Lean concepts into all aspects of medical device product development.
