Advanced Power Delivery for Medical Systems: Phasium Power's State-of-the-Art Products Based on Digital Logic Control & Power Management

Phasium's newest medium to high-power product platform uses advanced Digital Logic Control for both AC and DC (low-voltage) output. This DSP based technology enables full control of active and harmonic power flow. Medical systems with high current motors such as smart powered hospital beds, lifts and chairs all the way to high powered CT, MRI and X-ray systems benefit from the integration of distributed energy resources.

The existing power supplies for these large medical systems are simple, robust, reliable, and relatively inexpensive. However, they are extremely large by both volume and weight, have no built-in intelligence and have no capability for voltage or frequency regulation and they do not have a DC interface for energy storage integration. In this presentation, Phasium will discuss new products, with case studies, that integrate solutions for battery storage and improved intelligent load protection in a smaller footprint.
