Sean AndersonHead ConsultantHoplos LLC

Sean Anderson studied communication and behavioral Science at USC and graduated in 1984. He worked in combat equipment solution design and supply operations until 1987. As the 80’s ended he transitioned his career path to study computer science, engineering data management, CAD and Image processing technologies while working for a public utility. He moved to an engineering services company, with clients like Boeing and Bechtel, and managed their CAD services operation until 1994. Sean transitioned to Internet content system design and big data publishing system design and began working for IBM at 1997. He further evolved his big data management expertise while at Data Direct Networks and began working for HP in 1999. At HP he put his expertise to use, to design highly scalable personalized print product manufacturing platforms.

Sean accepted an offer from Shutterfly, his largest HP client, in 2005 to become their director manufacturing technology. During seven years at Shutterfly he concentrated on evolving human manufacturing operations, mechanized manufacturing operations (using application specific manufacturing machines) and flexible robotic manufacturing systems. He became an expert in adhesives and laminated, multi-component, product manufacturing. In 2013 he began working for Xerox to design mobile robotic systems, to build multi-component products. Sean became the primary (consumer and first responder) product design consultant for a wearable technology startup company; which recently evolved into Moxie Power Technologies.
